
Five Element Qigong – The word Qigong – life force energy “qi” and “gong” to work or cultivate, means cultivation or working with life force energy, present in nature all around us. The ancient Chinese thought illness and disease were caused by stagnation or blockages in the energy pathways of the body, known as meridians. Through different sets of forms we will move our “qi” to benefit our health, wellness, vitality, and longevity.

Tai Chi Qigong Shibashi 18 Forms – A combination of Yang-Style Tai Chi and Qigong developed in 1979 by Chinese Physician Lin Housheng to help with health conditions such as hypertension, lung disease, and back pain. The forms focus on breathing and movements to help build posture, tone, and a healthy range of movement without putting stress on the joints. Calming and stress reducing, it is considered meditation in motion.
Tai Chi for Arthritis – Sun style Tai Chi has been proven to help with arthritis. The movements help increase mobility of the joints, reduce stress, and help with balance and fall prevention. Developed by the Tai Chi for Health Institute and endorsed by the National Arthritis Foundation.
